Give Away

I love reading your responses to the question
"What is God asking me to give away in 2008?
This is my "give away" to you for entering the drawing with your responses.
The Pouchee!
Stop wasting time emptying everything out of one purse and then putting it into another purse. Instead, organize your items into Pouchee one time only and then place Pouchee in the bag or purse of your choice!
When you need to change purses or bags, take your Pouchee out of one and simply place it in the other! Pouchees make a welcome and practical gift for any woman.
I know each of you is wonderful and I hope this will assist you in keeping your life organized.

Be sure to post your responses along with your e-mail or blog address.
The drawing ends Monday January 21, 2008.

Zoe,
I love your give away. I saw something like it at the Southern Living Christmas show. My only question is does it come in any other colors? You know some of us can not do pink???
Love ya girl,
Charlene

Hey Charlene,
The Pouchee is available in a varity of different colors and they are usually sold in small boutiques. I bought this one at Leah and Company located in the Promenade Shopping Center in Charlotte.
I can't image any girl not doing at least little pink (sorry Shari) HA!HA!

It is great that you give things away, but I wanted to let you know how much I appreciate Proverbs 31 and the daily encouragement messages I receive each day. I am an empty nest mom with an almost atheist husband (he wasn’t that way when I married him), 2 children who are lost to this world and 3 small grandchildren who I worry about daily. In addition to prayer, your site helps me deal with my daily struggles in life. It is good to know other Christian women who are not afraid to talk about their struggles. It helps me know I am not alone in this journey. God Bless you and your mission, you have been heaven sent to me! : )

I found your blog thru the P31 devotional daily email. :) This one really spoke to me about balancing. Thank you for that. And the pouchee thing is really a cool idea!

Thank you for your ministry and devotionals.

The Pouchee looks amazing and would be such a help as I juggle purses, diaper bags, trips to school, the gym etc.

Blessings Galore,

Caroline

I found you blog through the devotional today. I struggle so much with not putting off my quiet time and sometimes all I have time for is a rather quick prayer. So nice to know I'm not the only one!

PS...that pouchee seems way cool...I hate carrying purses because they seem too big in addition to all the rummel I have with 4 small kids...this seems like the perfect solution!

Hi Zoe, Charlene is right you know...some of us just can't wear pink...hehehe! BUT, I will say, that is the COOLEST bag! What a great idea...honestly, I love it! And, if it only came in pink I might just have to have it...I did drive a pink caddy for about 5 years when I was with MK!!! My husband always told people when they asked him how he liked being in a pink car, he replied, "you can't tell what color it is from the inside!" So the same is true with the pouchee...send it on, girl! love ya, Shari

PS-Our group is the one that took off on your idea and made the thanksgiving dinner for our local firemen. Our small group was blessed by it.
Have a wonderful blessed day.

Thank you for this thought provoking question. This is the first time I have come to your blog. I have given some thought to your question and my answer is that God is asking me to give my true self away. By this I mean not just a quick and cool "I'm fine" when really I am not, or pray in a deeper way and to truly listen to what someone is saying, speak in kindness and out of the love that Christ has poured out for me and for my brothers and sisters in Him.
