Vacation is Over
Hey Sweet Bloggy Friends,

Alas, our week at Sunset Beach, NC has come to an end. I'm washing the last few loads of laundry and getting things ready for our back to work schedule..

To end our vacation on a high note we put the unpacking and laundry on hold long enough to have dinner with our sons Joseph and Josh and Josh's girlfriend Kelsey who is visiting from Baltimore, MD.

It's back to business and back on track with my healthy fitness lifestyle. Okay, I did walk and play in the waves everyday but I also enjoyed my share of fried seafood, hush puppies, low fat chips, cheezs-its and...you get the picture.

My workouts begin again tomorrow night. Arrrrrr!!!!

What are you doing to celebrate the last few days of summer vacation?

The last few days? Your vacation must end quicker than ours! We just began 2 weeks of holidays yesterday and my son doesn't return to school until around Sept 5th, so we still have another month.

Currently we're at MBC (Muskoka Bible Conference) Center. It's located on Mary Lake, just outside of Huntsville, Ontario and it is the largest, Canadian Christian conference center. We own a trailer on the property - a really nice trailer :o) with cathedral ceilings, skylights, full-size bathroom...think you're getting the picture? (I'm NOT a trailer girl, but this is like a little house.)

We are enjoying fabulous teaching in chapel morning and evening, fun beach times, volleyball, water sports, reading, peace and quiet, gorgeous weather, mini-golf etc...

Glad your holiday went so well. Always love seeing your pictures.

Hope you're having a great day!
Love & prayers,
Joy

Hi girl,

I am so glad you had so much fun on your vacation. Oh, your photos make me looonnng for the beach! We are not going to the beach this summer but headed to see JJ's parents in central FL. It will be wonderful and relaxing but I sure would love to listen to the ocean breeze. Maybe we need to take a Labor Day beach trip...hmmm...you've got me thinking!

I just wanted to say that I love you and I miss you. I hope you can come to our next P31 girls night out.

Hugs,
Renee

I'm so glad you had the chance to spend time with your family. That is wonderful. Aaaaah!

Me? I juggling appointments and band camp schedules. Meeting deadlines for work and buying school supplies. Picking up school schedules and keeping the children's temperatures down. It is busy, busy, busy. I'm taking my blogging break now.

But, now I have to prepare lunch and get back to work or I will not finish those quilt tops and someone in PA will not be happy.

This actually keeps me on my toes. But, I would love to go visit my mom in Missouri.

Zoe,

So glad that you are home and sounding well rested.

I am with Joy--my boys don't start school until Sept 2. And our vacation isn't until the last week in August. Please don't have me make it any shorter than it already is!!!

Actually, we are usually ready to be back onto a schedule come September.

Good to have you "home"

Kim

Glad you had a wonderful vacation.

I'm ready for fall, myself. Here in the midwest it is hot and humid. I'm ready for some cool breezes, changes of the leaves, and back to routines!

Zoe,

Is is so hard to get back into the groove of life after vacation isn't it? We just returned from Hold Beach, NC. I hoped i would run into you since it is close to Sunset Beach. I am glad you and your family received the gift of rest. It is so easy for us to keep pushing on when God actually wants us to stop and rest.

Blessings,

Kimberly
